Cookie Spirit Presents

This is my passion project: a Halloween animation that features a gingerbread house and a train moving around it. It is entirely my concept and execution. I created it inspired by folklore, particularly Hansel and Gretel by the Brothers Grimm, as well as amusement park ghost trains, bakeries, and Bavarian clocks.

I chose to make it a mixed media animation because I wanted to create volume and depth, and to evoke an eerie atmosphere using 2D watercolor elements.

The process involved five stages: visual research, creating the models in Cinema 4D, texturing, animating the models, and compositing in After Effects. I also added additional lighting and watercolor effects to enhance the final outcome.
